Sucks to put all that time into development just to see him traded as he peaks. But Buffalo dicked him around with bridge deals and now he wants out. Cant say o blame him. I can see it. They played really well in the playoff series against Tampa and that was without Ekblad but they took some of the dumbest penalties I've ever seen a team leading in games take.

They're stacked, I'd say they favorites to win the division right now if their goaltending is good.

He'll put up 70+ points on the Panthers top line. The season he just had (mostly without Eichel) was easily his best ever. Top line forward in every sense of the forward but our dumb management decided to give him a 2 year contract.
