Also, how the **** did the U.S not advance to the World Cup instead of Panama? God damn how bad they played today vs England.

Everyone wants to point to the Trinidad game, but it was the two losses at home. Simple as that. Of course there were bigger, systematic issues at play including the team quitting on a coach and questionable effort from a few top players. But it basically boils down to dropping points to MEX and CRC at home. Get 1 point out of those games, and you qualify.

Aside from the aforementioned T&T match, our road form wasn't even that bad (1 pt in MEX, 1 pt in PAN and a 1 pt in HON). You take a point in those places every time.
