Favourite games of the season thus far

I have goosebumps thinking of that NYI game. The last time a game gave me such an emotional high was probably the first game Matthews played as a Leaf, I don't think I need to remind anyone what happened that night.

I was there that night - birthday game tradition.

Agreed, that was another great one, when Marleau rallied everyone for the win during the intermission. Wish I could have been in the dressing room for that one.

You're right, that probably was one of the bigger turning points of the season, although we lost the next game against Colorado, we really seemed to pick up our level of play around that time. For that reason I'll say it is another of my favourite games.

TOR vs. TB on February 12th. Two high flying skilled teams trading chances all night. One of the more fun games to watch in my opinion.

- Game in MTL (Matthews OT winner, my buddies were there)
- Hall of Fame game vs BOS when JVR tied it and Marleau scored in OT
- November game in MTL crushed em 6-0 (I was there, sickest game ever)
- Next Century game vs CAR
- Game vs NYI (first NHL goals for Dermott/Holl, was at that one)
- Game vs ANA in Toronto (back and forth affair, was at that one too)
- Game in AZ (Matthews snipe was ridiculous, I love watching games from that rink though and OEL is my favourite defenseman)
- Game in OTT where we came back down 3-1 in the 3rd

Last week against Boston was pretty terrific.

against the flyers when tie domi sprayed his water bottle on that flyers fan and he fell inside the penalty box and then domi started beating him inside the penalty box lol

Winnipeg 7-2 slaughter
Skating Boston to the ground the last time we played them.
Chicago in OT

Opening night in Winnipeg.

Both overtime wins against Chicago.

NHL Centennial Game 8-1 win vs Carolina.

Back to back shutouts against the Islanders and Rangers.

Auston Matthews 2 goals including his OT winner against Montreal, ending the 14 game losing streak against them.

6-0 Win in Montreal.

The 3rd period comeback against Ottawa after being down 3-1 entering the 3rd period.

Their most recent win against the Bruins when Hainsey scored with 1:23 left in the 3rd. Seeing how pissed Rask was after the game made it even better.
