What playoff moment or playoff game that ever happened with your team was the most heartbreaking in your opinion?

The Canuck fan in me would obviously say Game 7 in the 2011 Cup Final, 8 year old me basically Cried after watching it live at home.

Almost every game 7 from 2008-on, but special shoutout to 2010 vs Habs, 2015 vs NYR, and 2017 vs Pitt

Sabres losing in game 7 to the Canes in 05 sucked, but even worse was knowing it was over before the game even started with the depleted D corps. The fact that the final major loss was from a mysterious staph infection at least made it black comedy.

This would probably still be voted as one of the best series of the decade. To lose like that was crushing. Some of the best hockey I’ve ever watched in my life. So much on the line as it was widely excepted that it was the true Stanley Cup Final.

Steven Gionta getting boarded, no call, which if called would have negated the Steve Bernier board 40 seconds later
Pierre Racicot setting a pick on Anton Volchenkov while he was defending a rush on the 5 min. major that resulted from the above

For longtime Hawks fans, I'd say 1971 would hurt more.

For the Oilers its obviously the Steve Smith goal. But as somebody who was not alive at the time, I'll vote for the 2017 playoffs as somebody who's seen almost nothing but garbage from the Oil. It was so awesome to see them good and actually experience the emotions of the playoffs. It just sucked so badly that the refs took the 2nd round from us.

Bieksa stanchion goal. Nothing else comes close for me. After Vlasic went down in 2014 and we had literally three AHL D down the left side, I knew we were losing. And against Pittsburgh, I knew we were outclassed and I was just enjoying the ride.

Ducks: Game 7 of the 03 Finals.
Knights: Game 2 of the 18 Finals. I know the logical answer would seem to be Game 5, but Game 2 made it pretty strongly apparent that Vegas was not going to win that series.

Jets 2.0 haven't had much playoff history so I'd say one of those games against the Ducks where we were leading all game and then still lost.

Ducks fan. Easy: Giguere not even caring that he won the conn smythe. There’s often times that I consider trading that game 7 for the 2007 cup. It felt weird seeing them carry the cup around in black and gold...
