:bolts have kidnapped Daniel Alfredsson's family and will only release them once a certain unnamed player agrees to sign a 1 year deal with us.

We have acquired defenceman Luca Sbisa from Anaheim in exchange for our 2015 3rd round pick.

We are looking to trade winger Nathan Gerbe for a draft pick.

Big trade in Vancouver

To really kick off our off-season we'd like to announce the acquisition of a top young centre, the Finnish sensation Mikael Granlund!

:nucks
Mikael Granlund
Jason Zucker
:wild
Zack Kassian
Jason Garrison

We wish Jason and Zack the best in Minnesota. It was steep price to pay, a Top 4 blueliner and a budding powerforward, but we saw the opportunity to build a core around Granlund and Draisaitl at C in the coming years and couldn't pass it up. Jason Zucker helps bring a strong LW prospect who's almost NHL ready to our team as well.

Vanek has received an offer for 7 yrs. 8m+ from a contender (west), and another in the 8.3 range from a good playoff team (east), he is considering these his top options.

Vanek Decision is stressing me out lol. Three really, really good offers, and I am trying to weigh things that each offer.

If anyone else is in, let me know, as he intends within the next few hours.

Grabovsky has received an offer of 2 years 4.5m per with LNTC. Consider this the price to beat.

For those missing out on Stastny, Grabo is a 20 goal, 50 point center who is fine on any second line. Has the versatility to play wing as well.

Will consider moving Brandon Prust for a lesser 4th line winger and a pick or prospect to get some cap relief.

:ducks confirm with the emergence of Lindholm and Vatenan and the arrival or Boychuk we had too many NHL Dmen.

We have a lot of great 2/3rd liners and good prospects we'd be looking to package together for a good forward. We have 11M in cap space so cap hit is no issue. HMU with any and all offers

:habs PRUST TRADED TO BUFFALO

The Montreal Canadiens have traded forward Brandon Prust to the Buffalo Sabres for forwards Matt Ellis and Charles Hudon.

"Prust is the definition of what a warrior is in terms of hockey. Unfortunately, he isn't the same player since the injuries he had in the last couple years. We saw an opportunity to gain some important cap relief and go with a young and dynamic fourth line heading into the season. Ellis will be a good depth forward and we are happy to bring back Hudon to the organization."

Talk about an overhaul. I can't think of a better possible 1 season overhaul of a franchise. The Sedins, Hamhuis, Bieksa, Vanek, Henrique, and Boyle will form the backbone of a team that's due for an influx of youth this season and even more so in the coming years. We expect to compete in the top of the West, and look forward to 2015-16 when we have the ability to add guys like Draisaitl, Horvat, Severson, and Burakovsky to the lineup.
