200bucks minimum ticket price to see the Leafs here? Airfare would be cheaper just to fly to Toronto instead of seeing them here. Maybe get a one way ticket and stay there..

Can never really understand how many closet leafs fans live here, exist here, and keep being leafs fans. Makes no sense. Pretty much the type that say Berta and can't resist bashing it here, while living and working here for years.
I was in Tampa back @2011 for a game and it was the Leafs and Lighting. I was sitting beside a family a 4 from Toronto who were at the game. It’s cheaper for them to go to Tampa for family of 4 then to watch game in Toronto
I cant believe I paid to see Leafs

Well, I’m not from Alberta and u gotta admit, playoffs are better when we r playing Calgary. I’m old enough to have witnessed 80’s
I live in BC and feel the same. Sure it's fun to cheer against Calgary but the Canucks are my "Flames" and have been since i lived in Van during the 80s.

I don't think I've ever seen the Leafs in person here. I did sneak into one game at Maple Leaf Gardens just to see the old barn. Was the only way to do it as there were no tours of the place and I wanted to take a look. Snuck around the people that were smokers, pretended to smoke and walked in with them. It actually worked. Got to see the third period and the mini OT. It was even a Saturday Night. Place was hopping. Didn't know this was a thing at the time but there were escorts all over there. Seemed to be the pro walk at the time right around MLG. The wife wasn't overly amused.

I did the exactly same thing in 94. I was in Toronto in the summer and the door was open at MLG. I walked in pretending to know what I was doing and got right on the bench. Security guard caught me and kicked me out.

Lived in Vancouver from 91-98. Been to both arenas there.

It didn't work the first time I tried it. Then 2nd time it did. The smokers take awhile to straggle back in and by the time the last stragglers were coming in they weren't checking. Trick was to get into the seating quick as possible and boot it up to the top. There were seats open there so we blended in. Albeit of course with no Leafs Jerseys. Was 93 and back then people weren't wearing Jerseys nearly as much. In Toronto is was suits. In Montreal it was suits. WE had long coats that were fashionable at the time I guess..

I used to take pride in how many events I could sneak into. Its something we started doing as kids and it never got old.

Do you expect a team to play at a high level every game in their streak? Lol other teams want to win too and have pride and will work hard to beat oiiers. You don't seem to understand there is a fine line between winning and losing in nhl. A bounce either way can win a game. The Oilers last 3 games have not looked that good but they found ways to win. To win tomorrow in my opinion they will have to have all facets of their game at a top level. Toronto will give us their best game so you should be worried. Edmonton can play a good game and still lose. hopefully Edmonton gives us a great game

I'm more worried than they've been battling a bug.

3 days extra rest & a desperate opponent, hopefully they show up. You gotta lose sometime.

I hate Toronto. Ever since we landed McDavid, they have never stopped with the BS
I also hate the Dallas Cowboys. Pretty much some mentality in that fan base
Fair enough. I’m sure there’s very few who hate Calgary teams more than I. They’re always red and always suck.

I never want to see Calgary in playoffs. Chronically overrated sods that wreck any series they're in. Facing Flames in playoffs is unhelpful as they're so lame they don't prepare a team, at all, for the next round. Its better to have some good opponents.

I looked at getting tickets for the Oiler/Leaf game here in March. The cheapest ticket I could find in the lower bowl would be $650 after fees and taxes per ticket and only if we did not want to sit together. A decent pair is more like $1800 per pair after fess and taxes. In Tampa similar tickets would be in $300 CDN range for a pair. For the extra $1600 my wife and I could get to Tampa quite easily and get out of the winter for a few days.

This schedule blows simply because watching the Oilers is fun now and they only play 2-3 times a week the last 3 weeks I believe.

You'd think this was a L since the Oilers are due for a loss, the Leafs have to be hungry for a win after recent struggles and since the Oilers usually don't play well against the Leafs but the Oilers keep defying the odds so....lets keep it rolling.

Exactly
Last time I was down was 2017. I seen Oilers in TB lower bowl for 100$. Went to Panthers and Oilers the next night, 1 hr before game 5 rows of ice for $35. Always good getting outta Canada in January or February, especially in NS or Alberta

While that might be the case, the leafs are right now looking like the oilers did to start the season, scored early and just can't hold on. Leafs players are gripping their sticks way too tight right now, would be as perfect opportunity to bring the hammer down.

We pulled off biggest sneak job of all time back in 99 at a 4 day concert in Shediac, NB.
Moosehead was big sponsor of concert and had a massive outdoor area beside stage for VIP
Scanners just came out then and we somehow got 2 tickets for the VIP area. 2 tickets then became 10 tickets and the VIP then got invaded by 10 overly impaired idiots . Everyone else was suit and ties and then us. We ate steaks , salads , appetizers and drank free beer all 4 days. Plus we had seats beside stage . One fella even met ZZ Top. I hate Moosehead beer, but when it was free, one cant complain
They even had nice bathrooms with running water. Better then the portable toilets everyone else had to use that were getting tipped over

Lol Gallant might make that soft core 4 cry. But would be funny.
Seen this one the other day. Lots of truth to it. Nylander hasn’t done shit since signing contract. I love it.
Big speech “ I wanna win in Toronto “”

Sure u do, just like the rest of the Core 4

Honestly wouldn’t be surprised to see their core 4 start funnelling offence through Mitch again now that the deal
Is done. Nylander got his pay day, now it’s Mitch’s turn (again).

Great price eh
Kansas was there as well
Best band I seen is not listed there. It was an all star band called Big People.
Benjamin Orr - The Cars
Pat Travers - Pet Travers Band
Jeff Carlisi - 38 Special
Derek St Holmes - Ted Nugent
Liberty Devito- Billy Joel
What a set they put on. I’m a big Cars, Billy Joel, Ted Nugent, and 38 Special fan . These guys stole the show.

Spent some time today on the Leafs board. Those guys are losing their shit over there. They want everybody fired and all the players traded. Same thing as us back in October but when we did we were low IQ fans who knew nothing about hockey, lol.
Tomorrow night has the potential to be a lot of fun on this board if things go our way.
