Hm, I'm the opposite.

If I miss the odd regular season game or two, I'm not too fussed. It happens and there probably won't be that much new information in that one game.

But there's *so much* information coming from these preseason games and building the roster and I absolutely hate missing a minute of any game. How will Hronek-Cole look? How will Hirose compare to McWard and Wolanin's performance? Can Podkolzin figure his shit out? Where does Suter fit in?

It's a good way to get a gauge on coaching/mgmt competency imo. The last regime had us scratching our heads during every preseason. Like what are these guys watching to come up with x decision..

Just for reference

wontons thoughts about Martin during game 51

“This has to be one of the worst goaltending runs in modern history”
It’s crazy you remember that because that might be what I posted verbatim

Man, I got two kids to put to bed at 7pm and their doors aren’t closed until 8:30pm. By the time I can sit at my PC and watch the game, it’s already over.

I know the pain. Miss parts or all of a game all the time because of this.

I am lucky that we have a kid you can toss in her bed at 7:00 and she's out cold by 7:02.

The newborn is some sort of bat and will be awake for the entire game and then most of the night, which is less ideal.

This is what I did during bubble hockey:

Put a TV in bedroom.
Craddled the newborn like a football.
Beer in one hand.
Milk bottle in the other.

Easy.

Harder now that my kids want to watch Bluey during games.

So this game likely has JT, Hronek, Cole, Demko, etc... yet they don't stream it?

Yet streamed that horrid lineup in Calgary.. Nice.

I get home from work with Bluey on pretty often and want to watch the Jays game and it's a battle to get it changed. Sometimes she wins and I end up watching a stream of the baseball.

Kids are old enough that we've started drastically reducing their screen time. Coincidentally, that's when the Blue Jays game starts. We also have an iPad that only has Netflix/Disney+/Amazon.

Quite a few good players on that Kraken roster, and some noteable ones left off as well..I dont think that the rosters will be that lopsided tonight...Grubauer vs Demko in net.

I'm guessing that Podz is going to get another chance to get himself back in the main group..Miller and Suter being the top 6 C's.

This is who traveled to Edmonton yesterday:

Forwards:
Beauvillier, Bloom, Boeser, Di Giuseppe, Karlsson, Klimovich, McDonough, Miller, Nielsen, Podkolzin, Stevens, Suter, & Wouters

Defence:
Cole, Hirose, Hronek, Irwin, Johansson, Juulsen, Schmiemann, & Woo

Goaltenders:
Demko, Sawchenko, Silovs, & Tolopilo

However, waivers open today so there's a chance they send someone down early.

Most interested in bloom wouters and nielsen

Bloom cause i really like his skillset and see a lomg term prospect

Wouters and nielsen hipefully vindicate thenselves with playing a dick game after a pretty quiet 4 days in victoria

Excited to see Cole-Hronek. Even though McDonough, Bloom and Klim are prospects, somehow not feeling excited about watching them.

I like the defense more than the forwards.

Podkolzin fighting for his life here. He must be feeling the pressure and he’s gotta find a way to not let that that get to him and play naturally
