So Peter Chiarelli trades for player (Eric Gryba) to EDM that Sens drafted w/the compensation pick from Boston when PC left to be B's GM

haha I love when things like this happen. I wonder if the GM's are aware of these things and do them on purpose, or whether it just happens by chance.

Gryba only plays the right side. Cowen, Phillips, Boro, Claesson all play left.

This and the Legwand/Lehner trade cleared up ~$6.5 million in cap space.

They're going to sign Wideman or some other UFA to slide into the 3rd pairing RD spot with Boro/Cowen/Phillips playing LD. Dream scenario: trade Cowen for picks next year, sign Mike Green to play 2nd pair RD.

Wideman is a righty! B mur is on fire right now with the asset management. Well done Bryan!

This is how you build a winner.

Methot Karlsson
Wiercioch Ceci
Boro Wideman
Phillips Cowen

this is more to do with randy lee and dorion most likely. but anyway, good to see some moves made.

Lol thanks for your input. Randy Lee would have absolutely nothing to do with this type of decision.

Clearly its a team effort but Murray makes the final call.

We aren't going to have $5M just sitting in the stands.

We won't miss you for a second, Gryba.

His most notable moment in Ottawa was his knockout hit on Eller and that idiotic mistake he made in Game 2 I believe
