Dear coach Knoblauch,

Playing McDavid and Draisaitl together, while giving you a temporary flash of offense, is a failed experiment. Tippett, Woocroft and now you have slid into it. Learn from their mistake. Nuge cannot drive a line and you’re too easy to line match against. It also puts too much pressure on them to cheat for offense while the complimentary wingers/3rd line wither and die. Just don’t do it.

Thanks,

Me.
What Nuge get a hat trick tomorrow. That'll show you. lol

I am fine with Knoblauch sticking with McDavid and Drai together. His depth charts during the doldrums of the season don't have to be what he does in the playoffs. We should be trying different combos and developing lines of chemistry. McDavid and Draisaitl together is a combo we should be able to pull out of our hat at a moment's notice. It might even be a way to revive the PP a bit, just to reestablish that duo a bit more

I don’t really like the lines to be honest but I do think it’s important to mix things up sometimes.

RNH - McDavid - Hyman was the best line in the league for some time, unless there’s injuries I don’t see why they’d need to be broken up.

McLeod - Draisaitl - Foegele was our best line some games. Not sure why we can’t go back to that. McLeod and Foegele aren’t scoring in the bottom 6.

I’d rather work on trying different combos out for the 3rd line. Kane - Holloway - Perry might be ok. But Kane seems to derail if he’s not in the top 6 and I’m not sure Holloway is ready to be 3C.

Will be missing the 1st period since I'll be working zzzzz.
Either we get shutout by this goalie (never heard of him before) or they score a ton on him.
Anyways, just win.

Sadly, Brown's chances of scoring a goal stay roughly the same

Congratulations you won the thread today

Sad sad sad, still plenty of ticket options for an NHL game with a 5000 seat capacity. My personal favourite is the "bench seating" option
Do you get to sit next to Brown?

I'm not a fan of moving Holloway down to the 4th line. He has 3 goals in his last 10 or 11 games played. So, let's cut his ice time in half. Really?
The bottom 6 needs to start chipping in again so maybe he can provide a spark

That's evidence that we should revert to the three-center spine with all three centering their own lines. I think that ultimately brings the most team success. Woodcroft used that system when he first got here and then it went completely by the wayside.
