7 points vs 1. I mean... we can expect something from Cammy, even if it is bottom 6 production

Yeah well one team has been sucking and the other hasn't. If the reason Edmonton has been bad was because of Jokinen then maybe Cammalleri isn't what you're looking for.

They have been calling up and sending down a lot of kids, giving everyone a shot which wouldn't have happened in the past. Gaborik has been practicing too.

Ah yes Gaborik. Now this makes a bit more sense.

This isn't some huge win you guys are making it out. JJ is horrible obviously, but all they did was upgrade turd to less crappy turd. It's a win but such an insignificant win.

At least Cammy can shoot. Not sure what the Kings are about here but he's pretty hot and cold and not always well received in dressing rooms.

Chiarelli just seems like he's very reactive in his managing.

Jokinen:

CF%: 58.27
Rel CF%: 4.26
xGF: 7.29
xGF%: 72.97

Cammalleri:

CF%: 43.79
Rel CF%: -8.01
xGF: 4.87
xGF%: 43.72

Oilers trading an excellent possession player who's due to break out but is struggling at the moment for immediate offense.

Fair enough I guess

I am very meh on this trade.

Chia will need to start addressing the problems he himself has created and this trade doesn't do it.

Pretty big win for the Oilers. At worst, they just added a guy who can chip in 40 points.
Jokinen scored 28 points last year and Cammalleri 31.. But there has to be something behind this. Maybe Jokinen fits Kings slow puck control playing style better? Or what?

I think Cammalleri will thrive on the Oilers. I'm really curious as to why LA did this.

Cammalleri moped around the ice all last season for the Devils. He's still skilled and puts up points, but I'm not sure his production/impact make up for the other problems in his game.

These are these posts I was looking for! Hate all the people who jump on conclusions based on points. Kings play possession hockey so this fits well with them in that regard.
