I was so worried that Samberg would walk to UFA by doing the college route, considering the fact that he's a great young player with talent and could have gone anywhere. Samberg and Pionk are both from the same place, which I strongly believe helped factor into the decision to sign. Bang-up job Chevy, I'm super pumped to have him on our blue line. I expect DeMelo to re-sign shortly too, and hopefully Pionk re-ups before the end of the coming season.
