Almost there

And Hiller has start every game until the end; he's Tank Commander.

Sad part is we have seen for 2 seasons now that Hiller is not the future. You would think before Ortio's contract was done and the Flames resign him they would like to see him play some games.

Guess not.

Hiller has given one of the worst seasons in the last decade. He doesn't deserve the net. He's had enough chances. Someone else deserves a consistent chance. Give Ortio the next ten games. The Jonas Hiller experiment is over. He sucks.

It's hard not to agree. Hiller's issues seem to be more confidence related than Ramo's. Obviously Ramo injured now, but . . .

Hiller will be 35 next season, and out of the NHL. Why not run with Ortio to see if he can regain any semblance of decent play.

It's a joke Engelland was given 20 minutes of ice while Hamilton saw 17 minutes.

Colborne was 3rd in ice time among forwards, behind Backlund and Monahan. 18 (eighteen) minutes. Bennett had 12. Bollig had as much ice time as Frolik and Ferland.

Oh well.

It seems as though the team went into this game just trying to make sure none of the good players got hurt. Low icetimes for Johnny and Benzo, and heavy use of Bollig and Engelland. Can't blame them. Anaheim is not a soft team, and it's not like they were expecting a win anyways.
