He had 40 last season as 21 year old. How many points has Dowd had in his season high lol.
How's Kakko on the pk? Does Lavy use Kakko against the opposition's toughest lines? Lavy knows both players, given the choice honestly, who do you think Lavy would have more trust and confidence in and rather have in the line up.

Bottom line if Dowd is moved, I prefer him out of the Metropolitan Division.

Besides it's a well known fact, the Capitals don't do Fins!

Baltimore-ish
Dowd (still injured) will make some playoff bound team happy, he is a really good responsible 4th line center

but I doubt anyone over pays

If your team gets him for comparative value ... your team slightly increased its Cup odds.

Value wise it's a fair deal but optics make it strange.
As an Oilers fan I would trade a 3rd + 4th Rd pick/prospect for either of them.

Just curious, how did the Rangers 3rd and 4th lines play last night against the Panthers? Actually did Laviolette play them at all during the third period? BTW, that's a rhetorical question.

I think last night's game and how Lavy handled the lines shines a big spotlight on what Lavy sees as the team's weaknesses.

Then the Oilers would not get him.
