Do you see Backstrom passing Sundin in points?

Depends how long Ovi sticks around. I think Backstrom will get to 1000 points but he won't catch up to Sundin, because Ovi will be gone by the time Backstrom gets to 1100 or 1200 points.

He only used it to his advantage one year though, in 92–93. I think Bäckström playing with Ovi outweighs that.

So? It means his point totals would be even lower had he not played in that era for 6 years.
