Hopefully it's not serious. People seem to like to bash the guy, but our D seriously ****ing sucks without him.

Does not look good at all. Phaneuf takes a lot of the blame around here, but at the end of the day I think most would agree he's our best Dman, and he plays a big role on our team.

Don't take any chances with a knee injury, just take the rest of the year off. Start rehab next season and he should be as good as new by 2017.

I don't care if it's the Sabres,

our D is doing something right if the shots are 29-8 after two periods and Phaneuf is our best Dman. Huge loss if he's out for a great period of time.

My guess is a grade 6 maybe a grade 8 and quite possible a grade 10.
