Some hopefully more stable goaltending for the remainder of the season. Even if he's not great, he's an upgrade on what we have.

Nate Schnarr

One more mediocre piece from the underwhelming Hall trade gone.

Best deal Fitz has ever made. Hammond is an oustanding goalie and had one of the greatest performances of all time to drag the Senzzzzz to the playoffs several years back. He also played out of his mind for Colorado in the playoffs a few years back and was oustanding for the Habs this year.

Best trade deadline for the NJD ever.

Please hurry up and talk extension for Hammond ASAP.

Schnarr is whatever, and so is Hammond. I'm not going to get too up or down about this trade.

Hammond is a slight improvement over Gillies because basically anything is at this point. We needed a body for goal and that's what we got.

The Surrey, BC native went down with a lower body injury during the Canadiens’ 5-4 overtime win against the Calgary Flames. There is no timetable for his return and according to many including Renaud Lavoie from TVA Sports, he has been seen limping and his injury might be more serious than first anticipated.

What a colossal f*** up of a trade.

What's the point of this trade if he can't even play? Is this for real?

That first-round pick we got became Dawson Mercer and that second-round pick from the same trade was given to the Caps for Siegenthaler. The Hall trade was a net positive for us.
In that sense it worked out for us, but I always thought we could have gotten one NHL ready player out of it, which none of the guys are.

And Bahl looks like he's gonna be no count at the NHL level.
