Figured it was time for the All-Star reset...this thread is for Devils news and talk only...all stuff about McLeod, Foote (and perhaps to a lesser extent the others involved in the trial) go in the trial thread, they're no longer Devils for all intents and purposes.

Hey @NJDevs26 , it's too bad that Bratt won't be participating in any of the skills competion.

I mean take a look at these :

• Fastest skater
• Hardest shot
• Stick handling
• One timers
• Passing challenge
• Accuracy shooting

I can see at least 3 events that Bratt would have had an excellent shot at winning :

The Stick Handling event, The Passing Challenge event, and the Accuracy shooting event.

He would also have an outside chance at the Fastest Skater event as well.

The one-timers....probably not though he does have a nice one on the PP after being fed by Jack.

The Hardest Shot.....No shot.

He'll either be back by the next game or the following game.

Either way, I think we get TROUNCED by the Avs.

At the very least, I'm going to be paying attention to Mr. All-Star Bratt and what he does.

Maybe him getting this recognition lights a fire under his ass to try and live up to it, and he gets on a roll offensively as a result?

Sixth-rounders don't often even make it to the NHL but even RARELY do they end up being All-Stars.

I’m being silly. I’m talking about Bratt beating a fellow Swede on his all star team in a meatball making or eating contest (I didn’t specify which). I wouldn’t worry about Pettersson who is just a plot device. The protagonist is Bratt.

Flyers are looking to sell at the deadline according to some reports. They have been losing and don’t have the talent to continue the pace that they were at. It’s going to be Devils Pens and Isles fighting to pass Flyers for Metro 3. Devils are NOT out of this.

We are lucky that this season has been full of mediocrity across the league. Devils can get healthy and maybe make a push.
