Stuff I missed from the last thread:

I don’t wish physical harm on that Bratt Pack guy, but he’s a habitual shit stirrer and I wish he’d be quiet.

I still don’t see Severson on the team next season unless he wants a Siegenthaler type contract. And if that’s the case, it’s a matter of how to handle Nemec. He’ll probably be ready to go in the NHL next season, if not sooner.

I got tickets, to the Devils v Oilers in November. A few days later, we will know if the Devils will make the playoffs.

We start the season vs 5 consecutive non Playoff teams from last season. In our first 10 games we only play 2 playoff teams from last season - Washington and Colorado...And Both are home games.

We better get off to a good.

I just secured tickets to Thursday's opener and I hope to have plenty of red there with me.

Having grown up in the area, I have never seen morale this low for Flyers fans. It's really, really bad.

Between that dynamic, how exciting our team is, and the proximity to Jersey, I'm hoping there's a strong Devils contingent. Should be a fun one.

True but the beginning of this season looks particularly favorable. We don't get into the tough stuff until late December in my opinion and we'll need to build a bit of cushion before January.

December 17th starts a tough stretch of Panthers, Hurricanes, Panthers, Bruins, Bruins, Penguins, Hurricanes, Red Wings, Blues, Rangers, Hurricanes on January 10th. If we don't build up enough early wins our season will be over in this stretch

That is a killer 10 game stretch.

I used to love going to Devils games in Philly. Get some Chickie’s and Pete’s.

Its the curse they can’t have too many successes. The Eagles are looking pretty good in a “stacked” division?! Didn’t the Phillies just win the wild card?

100000000% hell no you do not move him if this team is in a playoff chase at the deadline. i dont give a damn about getting a late first or a 2nd round pick and no one on here should be either. this team HAS to be playing meaningful hockey past the new year how freaking sad is that is the benchmark lol. if by some chance they are and in a hunt even for the 8th spot you let them finish what they started. you don't sell off and tell the kids/core/us the fans oh hey don't worry we are getting back a late round pick and a 2nd rounder! GTFO here with that.

I'm a hypothetical situation where Severson comes to us and says he'd like to sign here and he's willing to take Marinos AAV but wants max term, what do you do? I'd prefer to keep him tbh.

Many times. And the site even had his name and number as part of a drop-down selection as a roster player.

Unrelated, but I lucked out one time on eBay and typed "Broduer" by accident and found an auction for perfectly good 1995 era authentic jersey. "Brodeur" was spelled correctly on the jersey but the seller had the typo in the title. As I remember it, I was the only bidder and got it for a relatively great price.

I think I have seen a "Neidermayer" jersey on eBay before.
