I still think he scored before the horn sounded. Wish they'd have done a replay with the game clock and when his shot reached the net instead of me just reading in this forum "Oh. He missed it by .1 second"

Bullcrap. Show me the PROOF.

They showed an overhead replay on the jumbotron and it wasn't even close to good (close is relative). It was 0 before it even began crossing the goal line.

How are you guys getting so much production out of Boyle? Does he always man infront of the net on the PP? His production is impressive, just never saw this when he was with us last year, even though he showed more glimpses in TB.

were you watching the game on MSG ? they showed the replay in super-duper slow-mo a few times

Really? I didn't see any replay following Zacha's non-goal immediately thereafter.

did they do this during intermission? If they did, then that would explain it since I don't watch Intermissions much.

Haha thats the best, or when they stop the game because 3 minutes prior the puck might have went in, absolutely no one was aware at the time, or why they are even stopping the game. Ref comes out, says no goal, and the boos rain down. Gets me every time.

Well MSG could've at least showed us(the viewers at home) the replay as well. Bah.

Im confused because I recall them showing the replay 3 or 4 times from 1 or 2 different angles in slow motion. Maybe you stepped away or something at the time.

The only thing Im not sure about is if they went to a break an then came back and showed it. They might have done that.

They did. A few times after the goal while the refs were reviewing it.

They replay was pretty clear, if i recall it had not even passed the goalie when the clock hit zeros.

One of the replays started with the puck in the net and rewound until 0.1 was on the clock and it was like AT the goalie.

since it was the end of the period I think they went to commercial break then came back and showed it during the intermission. I dont blame you for skipping the intermissions (esp road games, turrible !)

3 goals and an assist on the PP. So that's part of it.

But 5 goals and 2 assists at even's, so he's getting it done there as well.

I think he's just playing inspired hockey. And maybe more importantly his line mates are playing inspired hockey, lot's of speed and energy on his wings, and he has been a great complement to those guys. I thought maybe he would slow things down too much, but his big stable game has been a great fit thus far.

Next 100: NHL.com predictions for League from now through 2117

June 12, 2021: New Jersey Devils right wing Kyle Palmieri is awarded the 2021 Conn Smythe Trophy as most valuable player of the Stanley Cup Playoffs after scoring 23 points (10 goals, 13 assists) in 25 games to lead the Devils to the fourth Stanley Cup title in franchise history.

June 30, 2026: Chicago Blackhawks center Jonathan Toews retires from the NHL and immediately is named Prime Minister of Canada.

Feb. 15, 2027: Jaromir Jagr celebrates his 55th birthday by announcing he will retire at the end of the season or when he passes Wayne Gretzky for the most points in NHL history, whichever comes first.

Jan. 15, 2082: Gretzky's scoring record of 2,857 points, which seemed unbreakable for decades when he had more assists (1,963) than anyone else had points, is broken in an unprecedented era of offense for the NHL.

They showed it right away before the commercial. Showed it a few times even though it was clear as day the first time.

Sept. 24, 2021: Don Cherry retires at age 87, ending his 41-year run on "Coach's Corner" during "Hockey Night in Canada" broadcasts. Instead of canceling the segment, a reality TV show is organized to find the next "coach." Former NHL player and Arizona Coyotes broadcaster Paul Bissonnette wins the competition and begins a 25-year run as the new analyst on the first-intermission segment, playing expertly off his host, Elliotte Friedman.

I could 100% see this playing out exactly as described.

That's probably what happened as I just don't recall seeing that and I don't hang around watching stinking commercials of crap.

So they DID show the replay during the intermission then?

Okay then. I was beginning to think I was suffering from amnesia or something.

I'm not sure. I could be wrong about the timing because i do recall looking at the score as the Devils skated off the ice and it was 2-1, it was after the refs no goal call.

Yes but he is actually producing more else where as our PP is slumping.

He is just playing good hockey right now.
