Thanks for the congratulations!
I must say that the danish team really owned the third period...finally they showed they can score goals as well.

Well this is our common goal isnt it? Denmarkia,UNITE :D

Yeah a Denmark-Latvian WC
but it all depends on Denmark staying up this year, since it will be decided after the WC. If we go down it will certainly go to France/Germany instead.

Yep,but i`m sure we both will stay up,just have to have some optimism,as both Latvia and Denmark hasnt had alot of reason for it recently.

George Sørensen wasn't so dominant in goal as the other matches but his 90,62% saves (29 out of 34) was enough against a Norwegian team without a super goalie. That made the difference this game!

So it looks like ehlers is more skilled playmaker than a pure sniper? Must be the ideal danish player as he has that passing-first mentality.

Well normally he scores as much as he has assists, so this is a bit atypical. But luckily Mathias Asperup who was coming back from a small injury finally got it going against Norway and scored two goals!

Nikolaj Ehlers has 7G 14A in 13 matches for the danish U18 this year, but 5G 5A in 7 games in the U20 (he scores more the older the opposition gets?)
Mathias Asperup has 8G 6A in 12 matches for danish U18, so he is currently best goalscorer this year in U18.
