Lol that was bad

That was my first thought as well.

The thing is that lots of junior players could have and probably have scored a goal like this on such a bad defense during this play.

I'm still not sure how his skillset translates to the NHL right now.

At the end of the day there are 5 other prospects that could become better NHL Dmen than him picked in the next 40ish picks in the 22 draft.

Time will tell.

He could also become better than 5 other prospects that were picked before him.

Time will tell.

Yes he could but the projection of all the guys I'm thinking of won't be measured purely in stats and a single clip either.

Scored another 2 points, that's team leading 31 points for him.

Kyrou finished 2nd last season and almost made Erie franchise history
by winning the Otters scoring title as a d-man. (just 3 points less)
- he led the almost entire season but forward D'Amato had a hot streak and won it in the end

He has mostly led the Otters scoring this season, currently 1 point ahead of the best forward,
which this season is Bressette.

good luck, hope you win it.

Skating isn't great and he was old for the class and a little undersized but a player with his skill that produced like he did in his first full year of Junior hockey should not have fallen as far as he did. RH shot to boot.

Saying Dallas has done well picking these (perceived) flawed, elite scoring CHL skaters would be an understatement.

2 more assists, 1 nice set up drop pass and really nice slap shot pass for Otters
2-zip goal. Man, of late Otters have lost many leads..

In his last 13 games, 24 points (1.85 ppg), 43 shots on goal, however, his +/- marker
is -10 from those 13 games, damn... Otters have fallen to 8th in the West.

One of the worst teams last season, almost won Otters scoring title.
Again, one of the worst this season, leading Otters in points, yet again,
maybe this time he makes Otters history.

Otters scored fewest amount goals for in the West last season, 3rd fewest so far this season.

1 point behind Mintyukov with 2 games in hand, for the league lead in dman scoring.
