Holtby was Holtby. 9 and 2 looked pretty solid. Big news there. 6 looked a little outclassed but you cant have them all going at the same time

The defense wasnt that solid. The Leafs had 42 shots on goal and had several high scoring chances. Holtby was very good, the defense men.

Yes. That trade was generally perceived as good, both helping the Caps and keeping Shatt away from the Pens. Didn't work out. I thought it was a good move but the judgment is with the benefit of hindsight.

I'll go on record I didnt like the trade from Day 1.. didnt think the caps needed to upgrade a top 4 right handed offensive D.. thought there were more glaring needs in the middle 6 / depth scoring that needed addressed.

Pitt called a timeout, Kane was snooping over on the Pens side trying to see what they were drawing up on the whiteboard, the Pens went ballistic and people started getting punched. Sullivan was ejected for something he said to the ref.
