I believe it was Friedman but he mentioned the Avs were one of 4-5 teams in on Tanev and that a team had offered a 1st+cap dump for Tanev but the Flames turned it down. Over on HFAvs we speculated it was the Avs offering RyJo+1st. You can see our posts on it from a few days ago if you check. It kinda looks like that might have been the case, now.
