It was Murray not Dorion but that’s exactly what happened. Sens flipped Runblad for Turris who gave them some good years so no harm no foul. Both teams came out ahead because Tank wouldn’t have been on the Senators radar at the time anyways.

There could be an argument made. I am.just 5o tired to make. It. Chych is better
Leddy is cost controled for 3 years and lhd playing top pairing mins with parayko. Chych is injury prone. Blah blah blah.

But if otawa wasnt going to resign him woulf you want a solid dman or futures futures gets you a 1st and good prospect . Just curios to what you gauge his value

Runblad was drafted by the St. Louis Blues 17th overall in 2009. In 2010, he was traded to Ottawa for the 16th overall pick. The Blues selected Vladimir Tarasenko.

I see no point to this trade. It's never going to happen but if it did, I think it's a lateral move at best. Leddy is great defensively and he's an amazing skater which makes his longevity better. How ever, We want a #1LD to move Leddy down to #2 LD and that would actually make our defense pretty damn good. If you get rid of Leddy that still leaves us with Krug and that's the issue.

Krug has been much better with Kessel. Still too many turnovers and sometimes I see a lack of confidence but his play has improved since Faulk has been out of the lineup. Those two cannot play together

Leddy has been very solid this year, couldn't really ask for much more from Parayko's partner. As crazy as it sounds, swapping Chychrun for Leddy may hurt our d in the short term
