Yupp. Hamrlik was a stud on D for years but never really got credit.

He was unreal in Calgary.

He was a good player. There have been some unreal players taken first overall, but that doesn't mean Hamrlik didn't have a good career. Guys like Phillips, Hamrlik and Jovanovski had very good careers, but weren't superstar players.

I only really started following the Sens more closely during Phillips' last years so I didn't see prime Phillips but I always liked him. All the best for life after hockey and thank you for all those years of reliable hockey and leadership
