The D is so bad and only made worse by AV's decisions. Staal-Clendening actually looked good this preseason and Staal has shown he's significantly better when paired with a puckmover. McIlrath should definitely be playing over Girardi, but even with the same 6 D that AV chose, this would be so much better:

Which line is the 1st line and which line is the 3rd line? Real tough to matchup against and one of those top 3 lines is going to get to feast on 3rd parings.

Well, swap the Centers on the first two lines and I was pretty close...The 4th line, not so much, and the Defemse....Well I am not going to go there.

AV already decided on Vesey - Stepan - Zuci in training practice it seems.

So I`ve this question: Do u think the kid is ready playing against top line players?
