As part of Chico Resch Night Friday, Resch and Mike Emrick will reuinite to call some game action during MSG Plus's telecast of Devils-Stars

This is seriously the greatest news I've heard in forever, I'm so ****ing excited to hear my favorite commentary team of all time back together if only for one period or however long they get. I can't wait!!!!

I could picture the club area being even more empty during the game as people gather around the TV's in the arena, or around their booth in the Fire Lounge

I love Chico, I really do. He's such an amazing personality and I feel blessed to have had the privilege to listen to him and Doc call so many games for NJD. I teared up a bit during the ceremony and again during the nostalgia segment in the 2nd period, that commentary team was magical. Steve and Dano are fine - but there won't ever be another Doc and Chico tandem in the booth.

Despite the shootout loss, this was a really fun night.
