Coyle and Nino channeling their inner Bridgewater/Bradford. Parise his inner Mauer.

NOT GOOD!

At least it's at the beginning of the year, and not heading into the playoffs?

Yes, better now when the games are few and far between than come just before the playoffs when there is no time to recover.

Any word on the other call ups besides Kunin getting his debut?

Mitchell, Ferraro and Bertschy

Salituro and Evan Janssen are the lucky guys who move from ECHL to AHL

I feel like Ferraro could be a nice fit. Unfortunate circumstances but he's a responsible player with some skill and some speed.

So with Coyle being out 6-8 weeks and us having the early schedule we have, it's nice that Coyle will only miss a total of 3 games -_-

So that puts his return at about December 1st? That would be 22 games missed. Actually not as bad as I thought though I’d keep him out longer to make sure the bone has fully healed.

With the 3 others we called up, we now have a full 23 man roster, so to call him up, we have to send someone down.
With Nino's injury, they can put him on regular IR (no cap relief, out 7 days) and callup Reilly if they choose to

Nino is already on IR, that's how they called up 3 more players + the Reilly/Kunin swap. Foligno, Granny, and Parise are not IR so the count is already 23 without Reilly.

Nope, no one back yet. They're sending guys back to the minors for cap space reasons. The cap accrues daily, so they don't take the hit from these guys for a few days by sending them back to the minors, which matters a lot with our limited space. At least a few of them will be back for Friday.
