Markstrom and wolf stats since Noah was traded:
Markstrom: 865sv% (7gp)
Wolf: 911sv% (7gp)
When I said markstrom was no better since the tdl, I was wrong, he’s been much worse. Perhaps I didn’t want to confidently say I thought the latter was better since I’ve already come off as biased, but it seems i should’ve stuck to my instincts.
Again, I’ll repeat it, there is definitely some cognitive bias going when with regards to how these players are evaluated. One is a vezina caliber star that keeps the team in it and the other has constantly been questioned and is too small… you’d just think it was reversed if going by the stats.
