I know this is going to ruin everyone’s day by reading this and I hope it doesn’t break hearts but.....

Tyler Bird is no longer a part of our prospects. He wasn’t re-signed and has moved on. Shocker, I know.

I feel bad for Tyler since one of the posters here talked to his mom at the prospects camp last year and heard about all the work he was putting into going pro. He seemed determined to make it and spending summers in Columbus training. Hopefully he'll have a chance to play somewhere else. Or with a business degree from Brown, perhaps he'll have other opportunities on the business/management side of hockey.
