Watched "Shadows in Paradise" last night, a film by Aki Kaurismaki, an acclaimed Finnish director. Great films, check it out if you're into what some might call "quirky foreign films". Can find it on Hulu if you're a premium member (Criterion collection).

It's hard to say without reviewing Howson's contract, and yet I would guess it didn't save anything. Either they stopped paying Howson when he accepted a job, or they have to pay him regardless.

Good for Howson. Yes it was his time to go from the CBJ, but he left the team in good (not great) shape and JD and JK have already started building with Howson's leftovers. Its going to be an interesting summer. . .
