So WPG and NSH tied in 94 points, with WPG holding Central 1 with their one less game played and better ROW.

The former hosts MTL, the latter hosts CBJ tonight.

I mean, if that's your goal that's fine. I want to be aiming a bit higher. I liked the Canes chances to be competitive and make some noise against either Pittsburgh or the Islanders, and both were possible matchups before Tuesday. Now it's pretty much locked in to be Washington or Tampa, and we've seen what that looks like.

That’s not my goal, I’m just a believer in make the playoffs and anything can happen. It’s hockey there’s a lot of variance, rarely the “best” team wins it all. Obviously the Canes are much more likely to win a series vs the Isles instead of Tampa. It’s still possible they play NYI as if they beat Philly and Pitt (in reg) they move up to 3rd in the Metro but as I said I just want to make it in.
