Not too happy about how they've been playing of late, but at least they've been racking up the Ws

Nice to see 2 and 9 have good games.

A few lapses in the third by the team but eh it’s not really indicative of much.

Good two points. I don't mind the fact they made it interesting at the end.

Hopefully this makes them play better on Friday instead of expecting a cakewalk versus the Devils. Gives the coaches something to focus on.

The Caps look like every other team in the NHL, play good, let up, play good, repeat. I watch it game after game, night after night.

The only team in the NHL that has looked like they can't be stopped is the Lightning, and no fan base understands how none of it matters come the second week in April better than this one.

Good win. A little let down in the 3rd but that's understandable considering the huge lead. A bit of adversity allows coaches to step in and do their job.

One by one players are starting to fall in line with expectations. Oshie is beasting, Eller is playing great, Orlov with a terrific game. Really, it's just Kuznetsov who is yet to join the party.

Perfect time to be rounding into shape.

You must have hated them before this recent good run :)

Just noticed in the stats they got beat 70-30% in FOs. That's very bad. Didn't cost them tonight, but hope they get better in that area. Aren't the Caps near the NHL bottom in FO%? :help:

Saw the score and game late and was pleasantly surprised. For all I know, we could have been 0-3 down to philly and make the comeback with 5 goals straight.

Having such terrible faceoff numbers is not sustainable. They're managing to pull out wins here, but like, could they literally do anything to address how shitty they've been at the dot?

It would seem easy to compile faceoff win stats to prove that they overwhelming lead to team wins. Go game by game.

Team FO 52% = 60% Win Rate
Team FO 53% = 62% Win Rate
Team FO 55% = 65% Win Rate
Team FO 75% = 90% Win Rate

It should be that clear cut, right? Dare I think its not.

Who made the schedule to put all 3 tampa games within a span of two weeks at the very end of the season. Thats just weird. Would think to have played them at least once by now.
