JapersRink posted an article describing the early returns on the new D pairings. I think these are the best possible pairings and hopefully Trotz doesn't revert back to his comfort zone the moment Orlov makes a mistake.

The Burakovsky scratch makes sense, he's not playing well right now and a lot of it seems like a mental issue rather than lack of talent. Hopefully he reacts well and returns with some better focus.
