Part of me wants to give VV a break on it and just chalk it up to a star player making a star play and beating a goalie.. but he just didn’t look good there.

Orlov was up in the play, and both Wilson and McMichael went partway back to cover, saw the other doing the same, hesitated, and then let Pasternak get beneath both of them for an open chance.
