Next year, if the cap is 73mil we will need to fill a 3rd line LW, a 4th line RW, 13th F, 3 bottom pairing D (6 depth players) and sign Kruger and they will have around 18mil to do that, easy as pie.

Panarin – Anisimov – Kane

The year after, they can concentrate on signing the 3 young kids first, and then fill in the depth. They will have 27mil in cap space (w/cap of 75mil) to sign Teravainen, Dano, Panarin, Kruger and 8 depth players. Let's say Kruger, Panarin , TT, and Dano get a combined 16mil (pretty high IMO), that leaves 11mil for 8 depth palyers. Not that bad really.

74.5M guidance given at BoG.
67.5M committed. Only Kruger and Shaw of note to sign and neither need big raises. Hawks will have some pretty significant cap room if that holds.
There is no "cap purge".

Factor in a Bickell buyout and the Hawks could fit a 4-5M player even, hypothetically (understanding that they need some room the next offseason for Dano, Teravainen, Panarin, also doesn't include Panarin bonuses)

Still a good chance at least a $1.3 mil cap penalty if not more.
Explain, please.
After Bickell wins the Conn Smythe that won't be happening

Bickell wont be bought out. That doesnt make sense for the long term plan of this team. You realize a Bickell buyout this offseason would break down like this:
Next two years he would have a 1mil hit. Next two years after that, where he would have been off the books if not bought out, (2017-19) he'd have a cap hit of 1.5mil. It would be insanely stupid to buy Bickell out at this point especially when we really dont even need the cap next season as much as we need it in 17'. That's adding to our problem not subtracting from it. He's either gonna be traded with a retention or we ride it out.
Rozy has a $200k based on games played
Panarin $850k in A Bonus ( team bonuses in categories like +20 g or assists, +/- . TOI
$1.725 mil in B Bonus (Calder or other trophies , top 10 in league in G , A, p ....)
TT $600k don't know if A and/or B
We don't know the exact breakdown but AP is going to make his A and Rozy will make his.
No. This is incorrect. If he is bought out after this season it is 1M the first year and 1.5M the second year. It is a very appealing option.

Buy him out and spend 3M x 2 on a guy that can play. Heck, Belesky just signed for that, Joel Ward too. That's real money.
