When he was first injured, the diagnosis was an ankle sprain (but not a high ankle sprain, which are brutal). As Khudobin began to get on skates, it was reported that he was uncomfortable and when he tried to get into the butterfly, he just couldn't do it.

Not long after it was reported that he sought a second opinion, and a partial tear of ankle ligaments was the diagnosis. Obviously more serious than a sprain, and thus more time to heal.

I believe he's been on road trips and skating for over a week now. Maybe it's a matter of "showcasing" Peters for a trade, I don't know.

After today they have a week off. If Khudobin is ready by then, there will be a trade.

Well, Semin is back and Lindholm is injured right? I didn't watch the last game, just going off things I heard. So I would expect you could use your lines and just swap out the two.

I should have looked at those more closely, they were posted before Semin was officially back.

Not sure what will happen with Lindholm out. My guess is that Skinner - Eric Ruutu stays together, and Semin takes Lindholm's spot at RW on the second line. Bottom lines should stay the same.

That was what happened after Lindholm left the Calgary game, so that's a safe bet.

I don't think it is confirmed that Lindholm is out for sure. According to Mike Smith (retweeted from Chantel), both he and Bellemore were at practice on Friday (and not in yellow no-contact jerseys).

According the the game preview on ch.com.

Defenseman Brett Bellemore, who hasn't played since Dec. 3 because of a concussion, wore a normal jersey at practice Friday; he had been wearing a no-contact sweater. Forward Elias Lindholm left the game Thursday early with an injury and is questionable.
