Raymond isn’t the only one struggling in their sophomore year. Lundell has slumped as much as the Panthers have. Interesting that he’s not putting up as many points when his team becomes mediocre.

Edit: Also, dude just turned 21 a couple days ago. I usually don’t worry about a guy until they’re D+5. It’s no coincidence that so many 2017s are coming through this year: Ras, Mittelstadt, Valimaki, Glass, Tippett, Vilardi, Necas, Chytil, Tolvanen.

This year I think I'm seeing more willingness of guys to send the puck to the D when the offensive play isn't there yet. i.e. no desperation "I gotta get it up-ice!" I like it.

Now that you mention it, I think moving the puck under pressure has improved a ton team-wide this season.

Side note: I love seeing what new and creative way Seider will handle the puck under pressure. He even has moments where he does something Datsyukian to get out of trouble. Doesn’t always work but it didn’t for Datsyuk either.
