I know i'm biased as a Villa fan (hahaha) but I think the way our owners have approached running a club is more of a sustainable enterprise then what has gone on so far at Newcastle. There's been significant investment within our youth system and academy -- buying many very talented youngsters like a Chelsea sort of model -- and just won the FA youth cup last year. This goes along with the investment in the first team squad with player recruitment. Last, Nassef & Wes, our co-owners, are also supposedly in exclusive talks to be the founders of the next MLS team (in Las Vegas).

I just can't take Newcastle relatively seriously until they have the structure in place to plan for the future.. At present, I think Eddie Howe is the only football person in the structure there. Of course, the finances are on a completely different level to any other club, but they have to get the structure in place first -- and there's no guarantee that they get that right
