No, you're right. It's a work in progress, trying to get the mess Rutherford left behind back on its feet. It's got leftover parts from the old generation which don't fit the style Peters wants so it's just in an awkward transition phase.

Yeah I'm not meaning that as a knock at all. Like really I'm jealous of Faulk, Hanifin, Fleury, Lindholm, Rask and even Skinner is a nice piece. But it just seems to me that the makeup of the team doesn't totally fit.

Hopefully you can flip Ward and E. Staal into some assets.

Fourth rounder out of Colorado College in his first pro season. He's looking it thus far, at least as much as you can say that about a 21 year old. Francis has done a pretty decent job building our D corps. It's the forwards, especially the wings that need work now.
