The pace at which Nylander is producing is very impressive for any teenager in the SHL, let alone one who is 18 and on a team with no one else close to as talented as him.

His line mate Kempe is pretty talented too...

Hard to believe he developed his skills in Maryland, though he did have quite the personal trainer in Michael but skill hard to believe he progressed like he did playing in a weaker hockey state.

Kempe has only been his linemate the past 2 (?) games, replacing Buffalo 2013 5th rounder Gustav Possler who has been out of the line-up. The other linemate, who's been on the top line all season as far as I recall and with Nylander every game is long-time SHL vet Per-Age Skroder.

He wasnt saying Nylander is producing because of Kempe because that is simply not true.

He responded to somebody who said nobody is even close to as talented as him and that is not true either.

I wouldn't necessarily bet the farm on him growing another 2-3 inches. I may be an anomaly but I was 6"1 at 15 and was 6"1 at 25.

I was 5'8 in the summer of grade 11, and 6'7 by the summer of grade 12. Whats that 17-18? My cousin didn't get to 6'5 till he was 20.

I wouldn't say its a sure thing he will get taller at all, especially if his dad was 6 or less. Who knows tho, if his mother is tall, that could easily tip the scales. He could stay 5'11 or get a little over 6.....

Holy **** lol.

Grade 11/12 is like 16/17 I thought? Either way I agree, unlikely but still a chance.

Anyone have a gif or other video of his goal? The video player for the SHL site isn't working on my work computer.

I wouldn't call it "amazing" but it's at ~2:03 of this video.

One assist after the first period in Leksand-MODO. MODO are down 2-1 going in to the second period.

OMG Nylander is doing it AGAIN! He has 2 points so far on Modo's only goals.

He on the verge of becoming the greatest junior player in SHL. I cant wait to see this kid tearing up the WJC for sweden :yo:
