Because he is better than what we have on the 4th line and the only kid who really could make a difference would be Kostin, and I'd rather see him getting top 6 minutes in Springfield to prove he's ready. He isn't a guy you want to bury on the 4th line at this point.

The contract is only a $1M contract. It isn't like he's getting $2.5+.
