I think it's more than where he is on the ice. It's how much time and space he has. If he's unchallenged down low he's going to find someone.

Sure. But he's more comfortable behind the net than on the half wall, where Backstrom is so effective. Again it goes back to how low to high doesn't really benefit players who excel behind the net.

Well Kuzya is looking a little better...

And Burakovsky is doing everything but putting up points right now.

Kuz is feeling it.

Never seen a goalie that wasn't upside down and/or Dominik Hasek make a save with the pad that high in the air

Burakovsky is teetering on the edge of disaster.

Or he's just really unlucky right now.

Great goal. The initial pass from Kuzy was awesome.

And then the 4th line gives one up

So many missed calls within a minute. Carlson gets high-sticked and then MoJo gets taken down twice.

Funny no mention of Tom Wilson's 3 pts.
I didn't realize Alan May making a point delegitimizes any other criticism of the team.

Tom Wilson has one point on the season. Two goaltenders and 545 skaters have more coming into tonight's play. There are only three forwards that have played 15 games that have a lower points-per-game. He's tied with such offensive dynamos as Vern Fiddler & Jared Boll.

Guess the refs feel like they've met their quota for tonight because the high stick in particular looked obvious.

I love it. As soon as Locker starts moaning about the firewagon hockey, Kuz scores on the rush.

Perfect.
