Maybe Timmy can use these next 3 games to right the ship.
Not that it was far off course - he's had 13 points in his last 11 games.

How many games/breaks does he need to right the ship? Been hearing this all season long now

He will have the extended summer to exercise whatever demons he faces every season

He's still young; ageing will make him better!

It's a bad season for Stutzle... but the good news is that he's still PPG

He definitely has 100 pts potential

He needs to get out of his own head, he's trying to do way too much

My opinion is that Greig - Stutzle - Batherson would be a great line

That's all good and dandy but being a professional and being paid 9mill, we expect him to be better, not take a step back from last year. He was even younger last year but was way better in the 2nd half of the season. He has been a major let down this year, so far

We have a better record against the Leafs than we do against the Jackets recently.

Really hope the team doesn't sleepwalk through this

We absolutely cannot cough up a fur ball in this game. We already gave away two points in Columbus earlier in the year. Giroux pointed out post game that the one we dropped in Chicago last year was an absolute killer at a time when we were showing signs of rallying. Time to focus and put away the teams we should beat...

Just wait till there is an outside chance of them to fight for a playoff spot. You know the pattern with this team

This.

They'll win some games and a bunch of us will not have learned our lessons and will get excited and say things like "if we go 20-5-5 we can get in" only for us to go on a massive losing streak.

I'm surprised some of us haven't learned our lesson.

It's actually not that hard to not get excited until they clinch a playoff spot. Enjoy the wins, but always assume we're going to lose the next bunch of games. Makes the wins so much better and the losses also so much easier to take.

We also don't look like tools to other teams by bragging or chirping while being out of a playoff spot, not that it matters what others think, but this reasoning is somewhere on the list.

Need 4 wins in a row to get to .500%

We'll almost be in March by then lol and still way out of a playoff spot.

The other day I looked at the last 10 games in the east. We were 6-2-2...people thinking "if we can keep that pace for the rest of the year we can make the playoffs" but then when you do the math, it only lead to mid-high 80s in points on the season...well short of the playoffs.

The other neat thing? Something like 4 teams in the playoffs gained on Ottawa with more points on their last 10, and 2 tread water with Ottawa.

So with a 6-2-2 record, we only gained on 2 teams in the playoffs...and something like by a point or two...and we're like 18 points out of the playoffs and there's only 3 more segments of 10 games.

So to keep an almost impossible record for our team, we might gain 6-8 points on a couple team and fall 12 points out of the playoffs.

He has a 50% chance to have a strong game, and a 50% chance to let in multiple weak goals in the first and get pulled.

Gotta love our goaltending.

THAT MAY BE YOUR EXPECTATION BUT EVERYONE MAY NOT AGREE WITH YOU.
