Pretty much every team has at least one player with first line forward/top pairing defenseman/top 10 goaltender potential, but in order to be a blue-chip prospect for me you need to have a pretty good chance of actually becoming one. Probably forgot a couple guys, but here is my quick list.

Anaheim: John Gibson
Boston: David Pastrnak
Buffalo: Jack Eichel, Sam Reinhart
Calgary: Sam Bennett
Detroit: Dylan Larkin, Petr Mrazek
Edmonton: Connor McDavid, Leon Draisaitl, Darnell Nurse
New York Islanders: Michael Dal Colle
Philadelphia: Travis Sanheim
Tampa Bay: Jonathan Drouin, Andrei Vasilevsky
Toronto: William Nylander
Winnipeg: Nikolaj Ehlers
Undrafted: Noah Hanifin, Mitch Marner, Dylan Strome, Ivan Provorov

Jacob Slavin is really going to surprise the Canes fans

Canes were trying to sign him but he went back to CC for jr year

Yep, I'm all-in on Slavin personally. I think he's going to prove to be our Sami Vatanen type find of recent drafts. One of these borderline guys that, if he shows he can translate it to the AHL level, I'll absolutely have him as a blue chipper.

Pretty accurate list although I don't know if I consider mrazek a blue chip prospect.

IMO blue chip is either a high drafted or highly touted prospect that's a lock to be an NHL player. Edmonton has Drains auto and Nurse at this point.

They replaced my serpentine belt and did a fine job at that. Blue chip in my book!
