Back from the game. Canes were doing what Canes do for better or worse. Flyers didn't seem to care either way , or that's how it felt to me.

Our veterans really wanted to make it interesting by taking stupid penalties.

It'd likely be a loss if we had Darling, but yeah... what a difference good goaltending can do. Go Mr. Azek!

I was very skeptical when Mac started against Montreal. However, he was great. I don’t put that loss on Mac versus the Caps. He was pretty darn good IMO.

I took it as meaning some combination of us earning 6 points or Montreal losing 6 points gets us in.

So if we only earn 3, but so does Montreal, we're in.

They were on fire. Came out totally flat on Friday. I think three-day breaks at this time of year are horrible for a team.
