I hope they finally trade Reimer. Sick of this tandem and sick of Reimer. Time to move him on already.

Alright, I believe it's injury or illness like Granberg's call up now. Trade is unlikely.

I really should have known Dawe was the Marlies' backup though. It was mentioned in the OP

Sounds doubtful that it is trade related. Emergency related is usually due to last minute injuries.

Considering the lack of trade reports, sounds like people are making a big deal out of nothing.

Hum no, sounds like it's just last minute signing for a backup since the Marlies are playing soon. Dawe is not even ECHL caliber from the sound of things.

He's not going to stick around and Bibeau is likely to go back down after this game.

He's not anything special. He couldn't even play in the OHL. It's a one time thing, like an emergency callup for the AHL. Sparks wouldn't get there in time.
