Hello there!
I'm a regular player of EHM 07 and also NHL 14. But as a kid growing up, I remembered ESPN NHL 2K5 being an awesome game. Well, recently I found it used for $3 for XBOX and figured why not. And it's pretty much just as awesome as I remember. So I thought, "man, with updated rosters, I'd just keep playing this game!"
So my first thought was to convert the attributes from EHM's latest roster update to attributes in 2K5. And after spending a few hours on devising some conversion formulas, I was disappointed to find that Maxim Lapierre ended up at an 84 overall, 2 points higher than Patrik Berglund with my current formulas.
So clearly my stab at it didn't work. Was wondering fi anyone else has gone to this sort of trouble for an old console game, and if so, what did you do?
