Only Two options? What about Matthews, Eichel, Gaudreau?

EDIT: I guess I was early, only Tkachuk and Kessel showed up when I clicked.

Vancouver
Matthews, Eichel, Gaudreau and Kessel are the clear next four, and I could see arguments for any of them. Went with Matthews. Disappointing playoffs aside, I think his goalscoring and all around game stand out

probably Matthews at this point. his goal scoring ability, 5v5 play, and defensive acumen separate him here.

add Guentzel I guess

that isn't the question, the OP asks right now who is better, and right now that is easily Kessel. he's coming off a 92 point season.
I understand that. And I still take Matthews starting RIGHT NOW, moving FORWARD.

Not saying anyone is wrong to take Kessel, it's a matter of preference. Matthews plays the tougher, more important position, their PPG's were not that far off, and they actually scored the same number of ES points despite Matthews playing 20 less games.

What? No it's who you'd rather have for a game today.
Fine. Matthews. Since a game today would be considered RIGHT NOW.

I'm terrible sorry I included the words "going forward" in my originally statement, I didn't think it would send a couple of you into such a tizzy. What I am trying to state as clearly as possible, is that I would take Auston Matthews from that list for a game today, right now, or however you want to say it.

Hard to say between probably Gaudreau/Matthews/Kessel
Went with Gaudreau, but I expect Matthews will pass him soon

gotta be matthews. 40g/ppg C is more valuable than ppg winger
