I don't like it given how the two options we already have have played at 3rd this year, especially given the fact Bautista hasn't played a lot at 3rd in years. Not to mention, he was pretty bad last year. The whole thing makes very little sense. I guess AA really believes in Bautista, and it is somewhat nice to have another option.

We'll see how it goes. I'm not too optimistic, and I hope he doesn't pout if we make him a bench player when/if starting doesn't work out.
